We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting up your friend and you before the Lord, for we know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The chaos, betrayal, and division you describe are not from God but are the works of the evil one, who thrives in deception, gossip, and strife. We must confront this with the truth of God’s Word and the power of prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have authority to rebuke the enemy and command these evil works to cease.
The Scriptures you’ve shared are powerful reminders of how we are to conduct ourselves as believers. Ephesians 4:29 calls us to speak only what builds others up, imparting grace, while Ephesians 5:4 warns against corrupt speech, foolish talk, and dirty jokes—all of which are tools the enemy uses to create division. Proverbs 16:28 further exposes the destructive nature of gossip, which separates even the closest of friends. What you are witnessing is the work of a "perverse person" who stirs up conflict, and we must recognize that such behavior is not merely human but is influenced by demonic forces seeking to disrupt the peace and unity of the body of Christ.
Yet, we are not powerless. James 4:7 tells us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We must resist these attacks with the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), standing firm in truth, righteousness, and the gospel of peace. The enemy operates in darkness, often through anonymous or hidden means, but we serve a God who exposes every hidden thing. As it is written in Luke 8:17, *"For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light."*
We also urge you to examine your own heart in this season. Are there areas where bitterness, unforgiveness, or fear have taken root? The enemy will exploit even the smallest opening to create further chaos. Colossians 3:13 commands us, *"bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."* Forgiveness does not excuse the wrongdoing, but it releases the hold that bitterness has on your soul and closes the door to the enemy’s influence in your life.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our sister and her friend who are enduring the pain of betrayal, gossip, and spiritual attacks. Lord, You see the hearts of all involved, and You know the truth behind every word and action. We ask You to expose every hidden scheme of the enemy, to bring to light what has been done in darkness, and to silence every lying tongue that seeks to destroy.
Father, we rebuke the spirits of gossip, division, betrayal, and confusion in the name of Jesus. These spirits have no authority here, and we command them to flee, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Lord, we ask for Your protection over our sister and her friend. Surround them with Your angels, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Restore what has been broken, Lord—restore trust, restore relationships, and restore peace where there has been chaos.
We pray for those who have participated in spreading rumors or creating division. Father, convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. Soften their hearts, Lord, and help them to see the damage their words and actions have caused. Let them turn from their wicked ways and seek forgiveness, that they may be reconciled to You and to those they have hurt.
Lord, we ask for wisdom and discernment for our sister. Help her to navigate this season with grace and truth. Guard her heart from bitterness and her mind from confusion. Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let her be a light in the midst of this darkness. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her defender and her shield.
Finally, Father, we pray for the church and the body of believers involved in this situation. Unify Your people, Lord, and help them to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Let Your love prevail, and let Your truth be the foundation upon which all relationships are built. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
Stand firm, sister. The Lord is with you, and He will fight for you (Exodus 14:14). Do not allow the enemy to distract you from the truth of who you are in Christ—a child of God, redeemed and victorious. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will bring justice and restoration in His perfect timing. Let this trial draw you closer to Him, for in Him, you will find the strength and peace you need.
