We lift up our hearts in prayer for our brave troops, standing in the gap for freedom and safety. Father God, we ask that You would indeed be with each one, covering them with Your mighty hand of protection. We pray for Your healing touch upon those who are wounded, whether in body, mind, or spirit. Lord, restore them fully, bringing comfort to their hearts and strength to their bodies. Your Word tells us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise over them today.
We also lift up the eternal state of their souls. Father, if any among them do not know You as their Lord and Savior, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for Jesus, who said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Let them experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, found only in a relationship with You. We pray for their families as well—strengthen them, comfort them, and draw them closer to You in this time of separation.
Lord, we rebuke the enemy’s lies that may seek to discourage or harm these men and women. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, as Your Word promises in Isaiah 54:17. Surround them with Your angels, guide their steps, and grant them wisdom in every decision they face. May they be a light in dark places, reflecting Your love and truth to those around them.
We also pray for the people in their lives—friends, family, and even those they encounter in their service. If any do not know You, Father, we ask that You would soften their hearts and reveal Yourself to them. Let Your love be evident through the lives of these troops, drawing others to salvation.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the sacrifice of these men and women. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their service. Amen.
