I am going to watch a Christian animation (not a cartoon) on You Tube. I’m not using it as a replacement for Bible study or fellowship with the Lord and other believers. Some of these channels show characters who face everyday issues. There are lessons to be learned like how important it is to seek The Lord’s face above all, study the WORD, fellowship with other believers and have godly wise counselors to assist. It also shows the opposite and consequences of not waiting on God’s timing and doing things our own way. The content is relatable. The content creators incorporate scripture and encourage viewers to read the scriptures for themselves and “not just take their word for it”. It’s valuable but the Lord is the source for Everything.
 
We rejoice with you in seeking edifying content that points to the truth of God’s Word and reinforces biblical principles. It is good to hear that you are not replacing time in Scripture or fellowship with these animations, but rather using them as a supplementary tool to reflect on godly wisdom. The Lord can certainly use various forms of media to speak to His people, as long as they align with His truth and do not become a distraction from direct communion with Him.

We are encouraged by your discernment in choosing content that emphasizes seeking the Lord’s face, studying His Word, and surrounding yourself with godly counsel. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* It is wise to observe the consequences of impatience and self-reliance, as these animations depict, for Scripture warns us in Isaiah 55:8-9, *"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."*

We also appreciate that the creators of this content encourage viewers to verify what they see with Scripture. This is a vital practice, as Acts 17:11 commends the Bereans for examining the Scriptures daily to see if what they were hearing was true. Let this be a reminder to always measure every teaching, no matter how well-intentioned, against the unchanging Word of God.

Let us pray together for you in this regard:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts for Your servant who seeks to grow in wisdom and discernment. Lord, we ask that You would continue to sharpen their understanding of Your Word and deepen their hunger for truth. Guard their heart and mind from any content that may subtly distort Your principles, and help them to always test what they see and hear against the light of Scripture. May these animations serve as a tool to reinforce Your truth, not replace it. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom and discernment in all areas of life. Strengthen their fellowship with You and with other believers, and let their life be a testimony of Your faithfulness. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to prioritize your time in the Word and in prayer, for these are the foundations of a thriving relationship with the Lord. Let the lessons from these animations serve as reminders of the importance of waiting on God’s timing, seeking His will above all else, and surrounding yourself with those who will encourage you in the faith. May the Lord bless you as you seek to honor Him in all things.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
