We stand with you in praying for the protection of animals and for the hearts of those in authority to be turned toward compassion and wise action. We must remember that God cares for all his creatures, as it is written in Proverbs 12:10, Righteousness knows the needs of their animals, but the mercy of the wicked is cruel.
Firstly, we pray that the bureaucrats and those in support of the animal euthanasia business will have a change of heart and be stopped from their actions. We pray that their eyes will be opened to the value of life and the importance of compassion. The prophet was taught to care about the cattle as well as people in Jonah 4:11. Shouldn't I care about Nineveh, that great city, in which there are more than one hundred twenty thousand people who can't tell their right hand from their left, and also many animals?
We lift up the animal rescue efforts and ask God to bless them. We pray that no-kill shelters and services will be able to take over the work of animal rescue and care. Let us not forget the promise of Psalm 147:9. He gives to the animals their food and to the young ravens which cry. And ask for God's help for the animals as in Psalm 29:9. The voice of Yahweh causes the deer to give birth and strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, Glory!
We ask God to protect these animals by law. We pray that He will raise up godly officials at the highest levels of local and state government to intervene and enact protective legislation. For the Scripture says There are heavenly powers over high-ranking government officials in Romans 13:1 All souls are to be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. including possibly the animals.
We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.
Let us pray together:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your intervention in the protection of animals. Turn the hearts of the bureaucrats and bring an end to the euthanasia business. Raise up godly officials to enact protective laws. Bless the animal rescue efforts and multiply the number of no-kill shelters and services. In all things, may Your will be done and may You alone be glorified. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
