We understand that you're facing a complex situation involving marital strife, divisive behavior from neighbors, and personal struggles. Let's address these issues together in the light of Scripture and bring them before the Lord in prayer.
Firstly, we must remember that God hates divorce, as it is written in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, and don’t be unfaithful." Divorce should never be sought lightly or without biblical grounds. It's important to seek reconciliation and healing in marriages, as God designed marriage to be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.
Regarding neighbors who meddle, gossip, and provoke strife, let's remember the words of Proverbs 16:28, "A perverse man stirs up strife. A whisperer separates close friends." It's crucial to set boundaries and avoid those who cause division. As for their behavior, we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves, but this does not mean tolerating sinful behavior. We should pray for them and seek to be a positive influence, but also be wise and discerning.
In dealing with angry behavior and abuse, we must stand firm and remember that "the wrath of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God." James 1:20. It's important to seek help and support if you're facing abuse, and to pray for the abuser, that they may repent and change their ways. This is the responsibility of the abuser.
Regarding the struggles with health and the cancellations of appointments, we trust that God is in control. We should pray for healing and provision, and remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28.
Lastly, it's important to address the spiritual warfare aspects of your request. We must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. We also pray that this person will fully know you as their Lord and Savior. We know that in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
