Firstly, we must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, we need to put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, we may be able to stand our ground, and after we have done everything, to stand. Divorce is not God's will, and it's clear that the enemy is at work causing discord. Malachi 2:16 WEB says, For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.

Anger is a tool of the enemy to cause destruction. Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB says, Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil.

We must also address the issue of gossip and idle talk. Proverbs 16:28 WEB says, A perverse man stirs up strife, and a whisperer separates close friends. It is clear that there is a spirit of gossip and meddling at work.

Regarding the confusion about family roles, we must remember that God is not the author of confusion, but of peace. 1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB. We rebuke any spirit that is causing this confusion.

Now, let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this situation. We rebuke the spirits of divorce, anger, discord, gossip, meddling, idleness, and confusion that are at work. We bind them in the name of Jesus and command them to cease their activity.

We pray for healing and restoration in these relationships. Guide each person involved to act in accordance with Your will. Help them to put on the full armor of God and stand firm against the schemes of the enemy.

We also pray for those who are arrogant and seeking ungodly positions. We ask that You would humble them and guide them to seek Your will instead.

Finally, we pray for peace and unity in Jesus Christ. We ask that You would bring order to the chaos and heal the wounds that have been caused.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf concerning the anger, divisiveness, and spiritual warfare you're witnessing around your neighbor and their relationships. We are truly grateful that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer against the spirit of divorce and other demonic influences causing discord, lies, and confusion.
