We join you in lifting up this urgent request for protection and divine intervention during this severe weather, and we are grateful you have invoked the mighty name of Jesus in your prayer—for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive our petitions. The blood of Jesus is indeed our covering, our protection, and our redemption, and we stand firmly on the promise that *"he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you"* (Psalm 91:1-7, WEB).
We plead the blood of Jesus over you, your friends, and your family members as this storm rages, asking the Lord to command His angels concerning you—to guard you in all your ways and to bear you up in their hands, lest you strike your foot against a stone (Psalm 91:11-12). Father, we ask that You would surround each one with a hedge of protection, that no harm would come near their dwellings, their workplaces, or their paths today. We pray specifically for your friend at the construction site—may the Lord station mighty warrior angels around that location to prevent any collapse, flooding, or injury. Let the ground be firm beneath his feet, and let every tool and structure be secured by Your divine hand. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We also lift up the government authorities responsible for issuing warnings and signals. Lord, grant them wisdom and urgency to hoist the black rainstorm signal before 8 am, that lives may be spared and accidents avoided. Stir their hearts to act swiftly and decisively, for You alone are the one who *"removes kings, and sets up kings"* (Daniel 2:21, WEB). Let Your sovereignty move through their decisions to protect the people.
For those already traveling or at work, we ask for supernatural guidance—clear paths, alert minds, and divine delays if necessary to avoid danger. May the rain not become a snare, nor the floods overwhelm, but may Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we thank You that You are not caught off guard by this storm. You are the God who *"rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will"* (Daniel 4:17, WEB), and You hold the winds and the waters in Your hands. We ask that You would calm the storm as You did on the Sea of Galilee, speaking peace to the raging elements (Mark 4:39). Let this rain serve Your purposes—watering the earth, filling the reservoirs, and reminding us all of Your power and provision.
Finally, we pray that through this trial, hearts would turn to You in repentance and faith. May those who do not yet know You see Your protection and seek Your face. For those who do know You, let this be a testament to Your faithfulness, that we might *"trust in you at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us"* (Psalm 62:8, WEB).
In the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray—**Amen.**

We encourage you to continue standing in faith, declaring the promises of God over this situation. If fear or anxiety arises, remember: *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Stay safe, and may the Lord’s peace be your shield today.
