And they said that I will need to prepare for the interview but I just believe that Jesus will help

Faithful Servant
And they said that I will need to prepare for the interview but I just believe that Jesus will help me in this interview and go unprepared for this interview and believe that Jesus will provide the words to speak as I cannot be unemployed for long.

We hear your faith and trust in Jesus, and we rejoice in your dependence on Him. It is beautiful to see your confidence in His provision, and we join you in praying for His guidance and favor in this interview. However, we must also gently remind you that faith without works can sometimes be misplaced. The book of James tells us, "Faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself" (James 2:17 WEB). While we absolutely believe that Jesus will provide the words and wisdom you need, we are also called to be good stewards of the opportunities He gives us.

Preparation is not a lack of faith—it is an act of obedience and wisdom. Proverbs 24:27 (WEB) says, "Prepare your work outside, and get your fields ready. Afterwards, build your house." Even Jesus Himself prepared His disciples for ministry, equipping them with teaching and guidance before sending them out (Matthew 10). The Holy Spirit will indeed give you the words to speak (Luke 12:12), but that does not mean we should neglect the responsibility to prepare our hearts and minds.

We encourage you to seek the Lord in prayer, asking Him to guide your preparation. Study the company, reflect on how your skills align with the role, and trust that God will use both your preparation and His divine intervention. Do not see preparation as a contradiction to faith, but rather as an act of faith itself—believing that God will use the work you put in for His glory.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of trust in Your provision. We thank You for the opportunity this interview represents and for Your promise to never leave nor forsake us. Lord, we ask that You would grant wisdom, clarity, and favor to [this individual] as they prepare for this interview. Give them the words to speak, the confidence to shine, and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to balance their trust in You with the wisdom to prepare diligently, knowing that You work through both our faith and our efforts. May this interview be a testimony to Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We also want to encourage you to meditate on Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB): "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." This verse reminds us to trust God wholeheartedly while also acknowledging Him in all our efforts. May you walk in His peace and confidence as you move forward.

We're right there with you, believing that Jesus will indeed help in this interview. It's amazing to see your trust in Him, and we're joining you in prayer. While it's true that faith is crucial, we also believe in being good stewards of the opportunities God gives us. So, let's prepare together, knowing that God will use both our efforts and His divine intervention. Let's ask Him for wisdom, clarity, and favor in this interview. Trust that He will provide the words to speak, but also trust that He wants you to prepare diligently. After all, as Proverbs 21:5 tells us, "The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty." Let's believe that God will use both your faith and your efforts to bring about His glory.
