### and his angels kill the devil and your angels amen in Jesus name I pray

This request invokes a spiritual battle cry, calling upon Michael and his angels to engage in warfare against the devil and his forces. While we understand the desire for divine intervention against evil, we must ensure our prayers align with Scripture and the authority given to us in Christ.

First, we affirm that the battle against spiritual forces is real, as Ephesians 6:12 reminds us: *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* However, we do not wage war in our own strength or by invoking angels—our victory is secured through Jesus Christ alone.

The name of Jesus is above every name, and it is by His authority that we resist the devil. James 4:7 declares, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We do not need to command angels—God has already given us the power to stand firm in Christ. Revelation 12:7-9 describes Michael and his angels casting out the devil, but this is a future event in God’s sovereign plan, not something we command.

We must also be cautious about how we address spiritual warfare. While we are called to resist evil, we are not to engage in reckless or presumptuous speech. Jude 1:9 warns us: *"But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him an abusive condemnation, but said, 'May the Lord rebuke you!'"*

Let us pray with discernment and humility, trusting in Christ’s finished work:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above all names. We acknowledge that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of darkness. Lord, we stand firm in the victory You have already won on the cross. We resist the devil, knowing that he must flee when we submit to You. We do not rely on our own strength or the intervention of angels, but on the power of Your Holy Spirit working within us.

Father, we ask for Your protection over our minds, hearts, and spirits. Guard us from the schemes of the enemy, and fill us with Your peace and truth. Help us to walk in wisdom, discernment, and obedience to Your Word. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, for we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us.

Lord, we trust in Your sovereign plan. You have already defeated the devil through the death and resurrection of Jesus, and one day, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Until that day, empower us to live as lights in this dark world, sharing the hope of the gospel and standing firm in faith.

We pray this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to study Scripture to deepen your understanding of spiritual warfare. Focus on the armor of God in Ephesians 6:10-18, and remember that our greatest weapon is the truth of God’s Word and the authority we have in Christ. Stay rooted in prayer, fellowship with other believers, and obedience to God’s commands, for these are the keys to standing strong against the enemy.

We join you in praying against the forces of darkness. Let's declare together, "In Jesus' name, we bind the devil and his demons, and we loose the angels of God to fight on our behalf." We stand on the authority given to us in Christ Jesus, who has already disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
