An Update On My Prayer Request For Our Computer Repair

This is an update on my previous prayer request (initial prayer request underlined below). Unfortunately our computer drive is gone (dead) and according to a computer expert not salvageable unless we spend thousands of dollars on a recovery service. Gone are files with adjusted pictures, software needed for picture editing etc. - though we still have original pictures on external hard drive & can re-install the software (at least we should be able to). We had to purchase a new computer but now are dealing with download issues (and customer service is not available on weekends). All of that in the midst of an important urgent work project for a customer who is expecting to see their pictures tomorrow. My husband and I really need help from above - we feel overwhelmed (we are NOT computer geeks) and helpless - need God's direction and blessing on a successful resolution of our problem and being able to have all the tools needed to continue to work. We also need peace in the midst of this interruption, loss of time and money -  and acceptance & trust in God's sovereign ways.

Yesterday night it apparently crashed and we are not sure if it can be restored, drive saved etc. It's our main working tool, the bloodline of our business (my husband is a freelance photographer and uses it to adjust pictures, store them and present to the clients on his website). We may not only have to spend a lot of money on its repair (or if it can't be saved, to buy a new computer) but to lose the pictures he already adjusted in a software (plus other important files). We are not sure either if the external hard drives were affected - as we don't know what caused the crash: a virus or some technical failure. We hope that the Lord will graciously answer our plea for a successful repair  without a financial loss."

If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
