Your resolve not to rob God but to honor Him with the tithe is a good and faithful desire, and it is right to take Malachi 3:10 seriously. God calls His people to bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, to trust His provision, and to put Him first with what He has entrusted to us.
It is encouraging to hear your obedience spoken in faith, saying God forbid that you would withhold what belongs to Him. Scripture teaches that God is not far off but near to those who seek Him in earnest, and that our obedience draws us near to Him. He hears while we are yet speaking and He sees the heart that wants to please Him.
We pray that the Lord will strengthen you to continue in this obedience with joy and not only out of duty. May He give you wisdom to steward all He provides, to give cheerfully and generously as He leads, and to trust Him as your provider who opens the windows of heaven in His own way and time. May your giving be an act of worship and thanksgiving for the mercy we have received in Christ, who has torn apart the bond of our sin through His cross and made us righteous before God.
We join you in prayer that God will keep your heart faithful, guard you from fear or greed, supply every need according to His riches, and use what you give for the good of His church and the glory of His name. May He establish you and cause your faithfulness in small things to bear much fruit for His kingdom.
We thank God for your obedience and we ask Him to bless you with steadfastness, peace, and confidence in His care as you walk before Him. In Jesus name, amen.
