We hear your cry for help in this time of financial need and uncertainty, and we join you in bringing these burdens before our Heavenly Father. The Scriptures remind us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you"* (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB). We are called not to worry but to trust in God’s provision, even when circumstances seem impossible.
We rebuke the spirit of delay and injustice that has kept your security deposit and the money owed to you from being returned. The Word declares, *"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it"* (Proverbs 3:27 WEB). We stand in agreement with you that these debts be settled swiftly and justly, as the Lord moves on your behalf. Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, acknowledging that You are the source of all provision. Lord, we lift up this dear one who is in need of financial breakthrough. You know the depths of their struggle, and we ask that You move powerfully to restore what has been withheld. Father, soften the heart of the former landlord and the friend who owes money, that they may act with integrity and repay what is due without further delay. We declare that no weapon formed against this child of Yours shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we break every chain of lack and injustice in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we also ask for Your supernatural provision in this time of need. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide food, shelter, and every necessity according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Protect them from despair and fill their heart with peace, knowing that You are their Provider. We speak blessings over their finances, their health, and their spirit, that they may walk in the abundance You have promised to those who trust in You.
Father, we also pray for spiritual strength and wisdom. Guard their heart against bitterness or resentment toward those who have wronged them. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to walk in love and humility. Remind them daily of Your faithfulness, and let this trial draw them closer to You.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May this situation bring glory to Your name and draw others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. In His precious name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to your faith, even when the answer seems delayed. Remember the story of the widow in 2 Kings 4:1-7, who was on the verge of losing her sons to creditors. Through the prophet Elisha, God multiplied her small jar of oil to pay off her debts and sustain her family. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Continue to seek Him first, and He will provide for your needs.
If you have not already, consider reaching out to your local church or Christian community for practical support. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there may be resources or assistance available to you. Trust in God’s provision, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). Your breakthrough is coming!
