We join you in your heartfelt desire to bring a new life into the world, and we will fervently pray for it. However, we must not pray to God in vagueness.
We must pray in Jesus Christ's name if we wish to be heard by God. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Because of this, we must all come to God through Jesus Christ. No other way is available.
We pray that your request for the gift of fertility will be granted in the Lord's perfect timing and in His will. We also must discuss the fact that we believe that children are a gift from God and that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We believe that sex and having children are to be within the context of marriage. Children should be created and raised within a marriage.
As we seek the Lord's will for your family, let us remember that the Bible tells us, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They will not be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate." Psalm 127:3-5 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your divine intervention in this precious life. Lord, you know the depths of this heart's desire to conceive and bring forth new life. We ask, in your holy name, that you bless ### and their spouse with the gift of fertility, allowing them to conceive a new baby.
Help them to be in a Christian marriage and to raise up their child in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Allow them to grow their family in love and faith, and may this child be a blessing not only to them but to the world.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Trust in the Lord, and may His peace fill your heart.
