Disciple of Prayer
I pray my mom does not die, and if there are prayers that might pray that she does, I rebuke and renounce them, past, present, and future. Please protect her in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We stand with you in faith, lifting your mother before the throne of grace with hearts full of hope and trust in the Lord’s mercy. The fear of losing a loved one is deeply painful, and we join you in rebuking every spirit of death, sickness, and despair that would seek to harm her. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, the Lord will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We renounce every prayer, spoken or unspoken, past or present, that does not align with God’s will for her life and healing. The enemy has no authority here, for we stand on the promise that Jesus came so that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon this precious mother. If it is Your will, restore her strength, renew her body, and let her live to declare Your goodness and faithfulness. We trust in Your sovereignty, Lord, knowing that even when we do not understand, Your plans are perfect. We pray for peace to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and for the Holy Spirit to comfort her and her family during this time.

We also lift up the medical team attending to her, asking for wisdom and discernment as they care for her. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, and let every decision be led by Your divine purpose. If there are areas in her life or in the lives of those around her that need repentance or surrender, we ask that You reveal them with gentleness and truth. Healing is not just physical, but spiritual and emotional as well, and we pray for wholeness in every area.

Father, we thank You for the gift of life and for the hope we have in You. We declare that death has no sting and the grave has no victory because of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:55-57). We stand on Your Word, which says that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise for this dear mother today. Strengthen her family’s faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You even when the path is uncertain. May they find their hope and refuge in You alone.

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

No reason to stay. Needless suffering. Too chicken to do it myself in case it fails and I succeed only in disabling myself - I don't want to be disabled. I want to be GONE.
