Alcoholic husband

Hi all, My husband is an alcoholic and he is scheduled for an outpatient addiction program in Seattle on 20th of Jan. My husband is a daily drinker and he has been drinking like this for the past few years. It wasn’t until he told me he had a drinking problem did I acknowledge the fact. How can I overcome my his hardships and let him be free of his burdens that follow him? Please pray that Jesus guides him in the right direction and help him be a better husband.

I know how painful and confusing it can be to share life with a husband who struggles with alcoholism. But it’s great that he is seeking help. I’m praying that the Lord will free your husband from the hold that alcohol has on his life. God loves both of you with an incomprehensible love and cares intimately about your husband’s future and the quality of your marriage. May His grace and peace surround you, sustain you, and guard your heart and mind as you seek a way forward through this troubling time.
