Alcohol / Family

Prayer for my nephew who is battling alcohol at the age of 21. We have been going through this for about a year or so now. He feels he doesnt need to go to rehab and feels he can do it on his own. He was raised knowing the WORD but now has quit going to church. We his family have been picking up the pieces after his falls. His mom and dad are besides themselves, I feel so bad for my sister she looks so so so sad. I keep praying for healing not only for him but his parents. Lord, I just pray that you will touch his heart he knows you Lord bring him back to you Lord. He is your son and always will be. Please help him and us as a family. I ask this in your Precious Name,,,,Jesus..We Praise You and Love you!!! All the Glory to YoU JESUS!!

Lord, I know how Applebee feels. I too have people in my family who have suffered and still suffer from this terrible disease. Lord, I pray for deliverance for this young man before he messes up his life completely, before he is being controlled by the chemicals and by the enemy. Lord, send someone to intervene, someone to mentor this young man, someone he can look up to and respond too, who will show him the way gently and kindly. It's so easy to fall into this trap and yet it destroys so many families. Lord, you are merciful and I ask for mercy today. I ask that you allow him to see the ugliness of this disease so that he will seek the help he needs, I ask that you allow him to see the pain he is causing his parents who love him deeply. I pray you allow him to see that this path leads to destruction of body, mind and soul. Save him, Lord. I lift him up to you today for your hand upon his life. I thank you and praise you, Lord, that we can bring this situation to you and leave it at your feet. Thank you, Jesus. May you will be done. Amen

Father, how many times have I went down this same path, the path of a slow destruction. I pray for this young man to realize early how much of his life he is throwing away. Lord, may he see how painful it is for his mother and feel the need to bring this problem to You and leave it at Your feet. Father God, my sincerest prayer for this man would be that he empties his hand of the bottle and fills his hand with Your hand. In Jesus' most precious name, Amen.
