We understand that you are struggling with alcohol, anxiety, and stress, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the problem and seeking help from Jesus Christ. It is only in His name that we have access to God the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved.
We are reminded in 1 Peter 5:7, Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
Regarding the consumption of alcohol, the Bible advises us in Ephesians 5:18, Do not be drunken with wine, for that is reckless living. But be filled with the Spirit. We encourage you to seek God's strength and the support of fellow believers to overcome this challenge. It is important to remember that God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out, that you may be able to endure it, 1 Corinthians 10:13.
Concerning your work situation, we pray that God will grant you the strength and wisdom to handle your job with integrity and diligence. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
We also pray for the individuals you work with, that God would soften their hearts and grant you favor in their eyes. As it says in Proverbs 21:1, The king's heart is in God's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. Consider seeking restitution towards those who may have been affected by the alcohol issues so that the work environment can be healed.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their struggle with alcohol. Grant them the strength to overcome this challenge and help them find a better job and to excel in their current work. Soften the hearts of their colleagues and superiors, and help them create a harmonious work environment.
Lord, we also pray for their anxiety and stress. Cast all our anxieties on You, because You care for us. Guide them through the Holy Spirit, and help them make decisions that align with Your will.
We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
We understand that you mentioned your family members, indicated by ###. We encourage you to pray together and support each other through these trials. As mentioned in the Bible, 2 or 3 gathered in Jesus name can expect him to be in the midst and answer their prayers, Matthew 18:20. If any of your family members do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we strongly urge you to share the gospel with them and encourage them to accept Jesus Christ, just as it says in John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
