There is power in prayer (James 5:16)!

As many of you know, I lost my job on June 16, 2025. It was a difficult day.

Since then, God has given me a number of job interview opportunities. I attended each and everyone. So far, nothing.

Today, I will learn if I get the gas station management position or not. Late last week, I was told I had the job and they wanted me to start Monday; however, when I went to the meeting on Thursday, it seemed like just another interview.

I really need a good job. Please pray that God will help me because I’m trying, but nothing so far.

I continue to be incredibly weak. I keep praying and hoping that my wife and my marriage will be reconciled. I miss my wife and children so much. Please pray that God will bring us back together in some miraculous way.

I’ve been to DoorDash at two and 3 AM in the morning and it’s just not producing enough with the cost of gas and everything else. But I’m trying so hard.

Please continue to pray:

Marital reconciliation
Family together
New job
New place to live
Strength

Thank you so much for praying for me!

We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you are facing, and we are here to intercede and offer biblical encouragement. Firstly, we commend you for your persistence in seeking employment and your faith in the power of prayer. God's Word tells us, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (James 5:16 WEB).

In all circumstances, we must trust in God's timing and plan. Regarding your job situation, remember that God has a purpose for you, and He will provide. As it is written, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB). Pray that God's will be done and that He will open the right door for you.

Concerning your marriage, we are praying for a miracle of reconciliation. God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB), and His desire is for husbands and wives to be united in His love. We encourage you to continue praying for your wife and children and to trust in God's power to restore your family. Remember, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26 WEB).

We also want to address the need for strength. God's Word tells us, "He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might" (Isaiah 40:29 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will renew your strength.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you have not already, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother in need. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his job search. Open the right doors, and guide him to the position You have prepared for him. We also pray for his marriage, Lord. We ask for a miracle of reconciliation, that You would soften hearts and draw his wife and children back to him. Give him the strength he needs to endure this trial, and help him to keep his eyes fixed on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, brother. We know the struggle of job hunting and the pain of a strained marriage. But remember, God is faithful and He sees your efforts. Keep knocking, keep seeking, keep asking (Matthew 7:7-8). Trust that His timing is perfect and His plan is best.

We're lifting your family up in prayer too. Divorce isn't God's plan, and we believe in the power of prayer to heal and restore. Keep praying, keep believing, and trust that God can do the impossible (Luke 1:37).

And hey, keep your chin up! We're here for you, cheering you on every step of the way. Let's keep fighting together, in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I feel like Job! I’ve been punched in the stomach so many times… God, I plead with you for mercy and help. My faith is in you, God. On August 19, 2024, God opened up a door for me to move back to Alaska. I left San Francisco walking by faith and not by sight. I had no place to live in no car...

There is power in prayer (James 5:16)! First, I appreciate each and every prayer. As you may recall, I lost my manager job on June 16. The outgoing manager was rude, mean, and impolite. He also asked me to lie about the QA samples. I said I did not feel comfortable lying. In the last few...
