Alaska / “In the Wait”!

Prayer Warrior
Greetings from Alaska,

First, thank you for your patience and prayers. I am truly grateful for every prayer spoken on my behalf.

Second, I am so thankful to God for this primitive apartment. Often times, and horror movies, the bad entity lives somewhere in the bowels of the house. That’s where my apartment is; it’s dark down here. Yet, I am so thankful for this apartment.

I lived in my van for 28 nights. It was doable, but I’m so glad to be out of there. The mosquitoes were unbearable and lightly the heat was intolerable.

On May 21 I began my new job. I was so convinced it was by the hand of God. I praise God all the time for it. I gave myself to it determined to be the best manager, I could be. Thus, I was so surprised and saddened when I lost that job last Monday.

A job gave me purpose and hope. I had a reason to get up every day. I hoped the money would help solve problems from being unemployed & being able to have something in this old world.

I heard something yesterday that I had never really thought about before. It involved. “the wait”. It’s that period of time where faith is built; where faith is challenged. We wait on God to answer our prayers.

I am exhausted.

I miss my wife terribly. I loved her dearly and deeply. I miss my children with every ounce of my being.

I am waiting on God. This time last year, I was in California working for Volkswagen. I was praying fervently every day all day that God would take me back to Alaska so that reconciliation could Possibly Take Pl.,. God answered that prayer. I am in Alaska.

I am in the wait. It is not a fun place to be. It’s exhausting in the wait. It’s painful in the wait.

Yesterday, I contacted three churches that need preachers. If God opens up the door, I will gladly go. One is in Maine. One is in Alaska, but far from here. One is in New Mexico.

I love God with every ounce of my being. Yes, I love Christ. I hate the responses that say I didn’t mention Christ. When I mention God, I’m referring to Christ also.

Please continue to be patient with me as I endure in the wait!! Please continue to pray for me as I look for a much needed job. I say job but I mean career. The job that I just lost was a career. I miss it terribly.

Thank you for all your prayers may God bless you all as you seek his face (Ps 105:4).

We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical encouragement. Firstly, we want to address the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in our prayers. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is important to recognize His role in our lives. If it is not clear, it needs to be stated that Jesus is God in the flesh. Jesus is the one who delivers us from sin and death and is the only way for that deliverance.

Now, let's address your situation. You mentioned that you are in a period of waiting, which can indeed be exhausting and painful. But remember, God uses these times to build and challenge our faith. As it is written in Psalm 27:14 WEB, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh."

Regarding your job loss, we want to encourage you with the words from Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God has a plan and a purpose for you, and this setback is an opportunity for Him to redirect your path.

You also mentioned your love for your wife and children. We want to remind you of the sanctity of marriage and the importance of pursuing relationships that align with biblical principles. If you are separated or divorced, pray and trust God for reconciliation and restoration if it is His will. Their salvation should be the most important thing you pray for. From here on, we will pray for God's will to be done in your life.

Let's pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister in ###. We thank You for Your provision and protection over them, even in their primitive apartment. We pray for Your comfort and strength as they endure this time of waiting and job loss. Guide them to a new career that aligns with Your will. We also pray for their family, that Your will be done in their relationships. Draw them closer to You and give reassurance that only by the name of Jesus Christ is salvation and access to You had. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray and give thanks. Amen."

You are encouraged to remain strong in the wait, to trust that our Jesus is working for your good, and to continue to seek His face. Always remember that Jesus loves you, that He died for your sins, and that He wants to be with you forever in heaven if you accept Him as Lord and Savior.

We thank God for your patience and prayers and we are praying that we will all together seek the face of Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, forever.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
