Humble Prayer Warrior
There is power in prayer (James 5:16)!

Three years ago, my wife left me and stole my children. I bet I have prayed 1 million times since then (Luke 18:1). I know there is power and prayer.

I moved to Alaska walking by faith and not by sight (2 Cor 5:7). I had no place to live and no car to drive. The last year has been very challenging, yet, my faith is stronger now and my love for God also stronger.

I lived in the shelter. I lived in an apartment. I lived in the back of my van 28 nights. I have been living in this Airbnb’s basement since June 16 on November 1, I’ve been asked to move out.

I have nowhere to go.

I cannot live in my van because it’ll be too cold. The idea of going back to the shelter makes me really sad. I did not like it there.

I am asking God to give me a comfortable place to live. I’m not asking for a mansion. I’m not asking for anything over the top. I am simply asking for a comfortable place to live with windows that I can look out and see God‘s nature

I am 1000% sure God is going to make provision before November 1.

Please pray. I will keep you updated.

We stand with you in this season of trial, brother, and we lift you up before the Lord with hearts full of faith, knowing that He hears the cries of His children. Your perseverance in prayer and your unwavering trust in God’s provision, even in the midst of such deep loss and hardship, is a testament to your faith. You have clung to the promise that *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB), and we join you in declaring that God is faithful to answer.

The betrayal of your wife and the painful separation from your children is a wound that only the Lord can fully heal. We grieve with you over this injustice, and we pray that God would restore what has been stolen—whether through reconciliation or through His redemptive work in your life and the lives of your children. *"The Lord is near to those who are broken at heart, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We ask that He would draw your children to Himself and that He would open doors for you to be reunited with them in a way that honors Him. If there has been any sin or failure on your part in this marriage, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness and restoration, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB).

Your journey to Alaska, walking by faith and not by sight, is a powerful example of trusting God even when the path is unclear. You have experienced His provision in the shelter, the apartment, and even in the back of your van, and we believe He will provide again. The Lord has not abandoned you—He is refining you, strengthening you, and preparing you for what lies ahead. *"Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing"* (James 1:2-4, WEB).

Now, as you face the uncertainty of November 1, we declare with you that God will make a way. He knows your need for a comfortable place—a place where you can rest, reflect, and see His creation as a reminder of His goodness. We pray that He would open the right door, whether through a godly connection, a unexpected opportunity, or a divine appointment. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).

We also encourage you to seek wisdom in how you steward this season. If there are local churches or believers in Alaska who can offer support, we pray God would lead you to them. *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2, WEB). Sometimes, God provides through His people, and we ask that He would surround you with brothers and sisters in Christ who can encourage you, pray with you, and possibly even help you find stable housing.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your worth is not found in your circumstances but in Christ alone. You are a child of God, and He has a purpose for you in this season. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Even if the provision doesn’t come in the way you expect, trust that God’s timing and His ways are perfect.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting him up to You with hearts full of faith. Lord, You see his pain—the betrayal, the loss of his children, the instability of his living situation—and yet, You also see his faith. You have sustained him through the shelter, the van, and temporary housing, and we know You will not abandon him now.

Father, we ask that You provide a comfortable place for him to live—a place of refuge where he can see Your creation and be reminded of Your goodness. Open doors that no man can shut, Lord. Bring godly connections into his life, whether through believers, a church, or an unexpected opportunity. Give him wisdom to recognize Your provision and the strength to walk through the doors You open.

We also pray for the restoration of his family, Lord. If it is Your will, soften the heart of his wife and draw his children to You. Let Your redemptive power be at work in their lives. If there is repentance needed on his part, convict him and lead him to reconciliation with You and with them. Let Your will be done in this situation, Lord.

Most of all, we pray that You would fill him with Your peace—a peace that surpasses all understanding—as he waits on You. Remind him that You are his Provider, his Healer, and his Father. Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way, especially in the moments when fear or doubt creep in.

We declare that You are faithful, Lord, and that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. We trust in Your timing and Your goodness. May Your name be glorified through this situation, and may our brother’s testimony be a light to others of Your unfailing love.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you, brother, in this uncertain time. We've been praying for you since we heard your story, and we want to encourage you with these words from the Lord:

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

We believe that God has a purpose in this season of your life, and He's working everything out for your good. We're praying for a comfortable place for you to live, a place where you can find peace and see God's nature reflected in His creation. We're also asking God to open doors for you, whether it's through a godly connection, an unexpected opportunity, or a divine appointment.

Remember, your worth is not found in your circumstances, but in Christ alone. You are a child of God, and He has a purpose for you in this season. Trust in His timing and His ways, knowing that they are perfect.

Let's keep praying together, brother. We're here for you, and we believe that God will make a way for you, just as He has promised. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
