Alaska / God?

My confidence is in God!

Honestly, I am exhausted. Lately, it seems like everything has failed.

A year ago today, I was 100% confident God was moving me back to Alaska. Everything lined up perfectly. Things happened. My first class flight was free.

The last year has been a challenge. I have had so many ups and downs mainly downs. I lost three really good jobs. I almost died on December 29. I lived in a homeless shelter for 4.5 months, etc. etc..

Today, I learned that my apartment that I lived in before, and I was waiting to be emptied has already been rented out. I had decided that I would live there and do DoorDash, etc..

Dear friends, I am 100% exhausted. Yet, there are still little things happen that inspired me to keep on keeping on.

This morning I went out to do DoorDash and made $66 and just a little over an hour. So, it seems like little things like that happen that encourage me.

So, please pray for me:

I need strength to function.
I need my wife and children back.
I need a good job.
I need a place to live.

I continue to read and study the Bible. I’ve read the psalms every month so far this year. I am nearly finished for August already.

Please God give me strength. Please God open some doors my life to help me; please help me to see your hand.

Thank you for praying for me.

We hear the weariness in your heart, and we stand with you in this season of deep struggle, lifting you up before the Father who sees every tear and knows every need. Your confidence in God, even amid exhaustion, is a testimony of faith—but we also recognize the raw pain of unmet longings, lost stability, and the weight of waiting. You are not forgotten, brother. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He collects every sorrow as precious to Him.

First, we must address something critical: your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom *alone* we have access to the Father (John 14:6) and by whose authority we pray (John 16:23–24). There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that our petitions reach God’s throne. We urge you to call upon Jesus explicitly—He is your Advocate, your High Priest who intercedes for you (Hebrews 7:25). If you have not surrendered your life to Him as Lord and Savior, we plead with you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His resurrection, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9–10). Without this foundation, even our most fervent prayers lack the power of His name.

Now, let us speak to your burdens. The loss of jobs, housing, and near-death experiences are not trivial—they are valleys where God often does His deepest work. Yet we also see His provision in the small mercies: the $### from DoorDash, the Psalms that sustain you, the very breath in your lungs after December 29th. These are not coincidences; they are *evidence* of His hand (Matthew 6:26–33). You asked to see His hand—open your eyes, brother. He is moving, even when the path is unclear.

Regarding your wife and children: we do not know the circumstances of your separation, but we must speak truth. If this separation stems from unrepentant sin (adultery, abandonment, or ungodly behavior), reconciliation begins with *your* repentance and pursuit of holiness (1 Peter 3:7, Matthew 5:23–24). If you have wronged them, seek forgiveness and demonstrate fruit worthy of repentance (Luke 3:8). If the separation is unjust, we pray for God to soften hearts and restore what the enemy has stolen—*if it aligns with His will*. Marriage is a covenant before God, and He hates divorce (Malachi 2:16); yet He also calls us to peace and purity. Pray fervently, but surrender the outcome to Him. Fast, seek counsel from godly men, and examine your own heart (Psalm 139:23–24).

For provision: God *is* your Provider (Philippians 4:19). The loss of your apartment is painful, but it does not mean He has abandoned you. Remember Joseph in prison (Genesis 39), David in the cave (1 Samuel 22), or Paul in chains (Acts 28)—God’s delays are not denials. We pray for a *godly* job, one that honors Him and provides for your needs (Proverbs 16:3). We pray for a home—not just walls, but a place of peace where you can regroup and serve Him. But we also challenge you: are you trusting *Him*, or the outcome? Your strength comes from the Lord (Isaiah 40:29), not circumstances.

Lastly, your exhaustion is real—but so is His strength in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9–10). You are reading Psalms monthly; *cling* to them. Let David’s cries become yours (Psalm 6, 13, 42). Let his praises reshape your perspective (Psalm 34, 103). And when you cannot pray, the Spirit intercedes with groans too deep for words (Romans 8:26).

**Our Prayer for You:**
*"Heavenly Father, we lift our brother before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, he is weary—*be his strength*. He is disheartened—*be his hope*. He longs for restoration—*work miracles in his marriage and family if it be Your will*. Provide a job that sustains him, a home that shelters him, and a community that upholds him. Open his eyes to see Your hand in every small mercy, and guard his heart from bitterness. If there is sin to confess, convict him; if there is forgiveness to extend, soften him. Let him not trust in ###, in jobs, or in man’s plans—but in *You alone*. Renew his mind with Your Word. Fill him with Your Spirit. And Father, if he has not surrendered fully to Christ, *draw him now*. Let today be the day of salvation. We rebuke the enemy’s lies that he is forgotten or forsaken—*You are his Shepherd, and he shall not want* (Psalm 23:1). In Jesus’ powerful name, Amen."*

**Encouragement for You:**
- **"My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."** (Psalm 73:26)
- **"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."** (Isaiah 41:10)
- **"Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning."** (Psalm 30:5)

Keep reading the Psalms. Keep seeking Him. And *call upon the name of Jesus*—He is your only sure foundation. We are praying with you.

Dear friend, we hear your weariness and we're right here with you. We know the feeling of everything failing, of being exhausted and alone. But remember, even in the darkest night, the sun is still there, just behind the clouds.

We want to encourage you with a verse from Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you, ready to heal and bind up your wounds.

We also want to remind you of 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." You might feel weak, but that's where God's power shines the brightest. Trust in Him, and you'll find the strength to keep going.

Please, keep calling upon Jesus' name. He is our advocate, our high priest, and He's interceding for you. Remember, He loves you more than you can imagine, and He's working things out for your good, even when you can't see it.

We're praying for you, for strength, for your wife and children, for a job, and a place to live. We're asking God to open doors for you, to show you His hand in your life, and to fill you with His peace and hope.

Keep holding on, friend. God hasn't forgotten you. He's right there, and He's got this.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting you up in prayer these past few days. Your heart for the Lord—even in the midst of such deep weariness and trial—has been a testament to the faith that sustains you. We are truly grateful to stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father meets us in our weakness and pours out His strength.

We know these days have been heavy, ###. The weight of lost opportunities, physical exhaustion, and the ache of longing for your family and stability can feel overwhelming. Yet, we see how God has been faithful in small but mighty ways—like the provision of that DoorDash shift, a reminder that He has not forgotten you. We cling to the promise that the same God who guided your steps toward ### a year ago is still at work, even when the path seems unclear or delayed.

We want to encourage you to share with us how the Lord is moving. If He has answered even one of these burdens—whether through renewed strength, a door opened for work or housing, or a glimmer of hope in your spirit—we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. If the wait continues and the struggle feels just as heavy, we are here to keep praying, to keep believing with you that God is not done writing your story. You are not forgotten.

We are also lifting you up as you continue to soak in the Psalms. What a beautiful discipline, to let God’s Word shape your heart month after month. May He speak to you through every verse, reminding you that He is your shelter, your provider, and your redeemer—even when the answers tarry.

Please keep us updated, whether in praise or in perseverance. We are committed to walking this road with you, trusting that the Lord who began this work in you will carry it to completion. May He fill you with His peace, renew your hope, and make His presence undeniable in this season.

We are praying for you in Jesus’ name.
