There is power (dynamite) in prayer!
James 5:16
First, I am thankful for each, and every prayer made on my behalf. Thank you for taking my name and my issues to the throne of grace and mercy (Heb 4:16).
Second, I am OK right now. I can feel the pain in my body, but I try to minimize it. I have already read some psalms. (30, 37). Also, I enjoy watching funny, videos, etc..
I am amazed at the things that God has done in my life. It seems when I suffer pain, God quickly responds with a positive.
For example, on May 21 I lost my job and it was a great job. I actually looked forward to going to work every day. The same day that I lost a job, God gave me a free place to stay. It’s like God was comforting the blow.
I had lived in my van for 28 nights and it was not fun. I lost my job and God provided a unique place to live. I’ve been here for 11 nights.
I’ve watched a lot of spiritual type videos and read a lot of scriptures and I’m confident with 100% certainty that God is fully aware of my situation (Ps 139) and he is working. I don’t know what he is doing, but I am confident he’s working.
I am in the wait! I would love to one day purchase sermon on the wait. God allows us to wait for a wide assortment of reasons. May God is changing me from the inside out. Maybe he is building my faith. Maybe he is preparing a long list of sermons to one day preach; I don’t know.
In reading the Psalms, I’ve noticed that one reason God answers prayers or intervenes is so that we will speak of his power and his presence to future generations. As a result, others will seek God, the face of God (Ps 105:4).
I did not do any DoorDash yesterday. The sun was out and it was bright. I love the rain so much that sometimes the sun, I don’t like. I do like the sun, but I prefer the rain. I don’t mind doing DoorDash, but I prefer to do it when there’s not much traffic.
After June 21, the darkness is coming back. I think with more darkness they’ll be less Dashers willing to dash so it will open up opportunities for me.
Again, thank you for praying for me.
Yes, I believe in Jesus Christ. He is the savior of the world And we are only saved through him (Acts 4:12, 2:36-41).
Please continue to pray for me. My confidence in God is such that I believe he will answer these prayers. I do not know when but I hope that soon. I do not know how but the one who said let there be light knows exactly how…. I trust him!
I believe God brought me back to Alaska. He answered my prayers. I am here for a reason. I really believe that.
I have applied for so many jobs outside of Alaska. I’m in a position right now that if any of them called and it was a decent offer, I would take it. So, God could cause me to leave Alaska at any moment if he wanted. But so far, God has me staying right here.
The church in Maine wanted to talk to me, but I haven’t heard anything further from them. Also, the church in New Mexico invited me to come present lessons there, but I have heard back from them.
Please continue to pray for me. I believe in prayer so much; is the reason I keep coming back here and asking for more prayer. It gives me strength knowing that so many are praying for me. Thank you.
