The pain is overwhelming!

It’s 4:12 AM and I woke up about 15 minutes ago. It’s so painful to wake up.

It’s like sleeping takes all my problems away unless I dream. When I wake up all the problems come back. It’s so overwhelming and painful..

Please pray that I have strength! I feel so hopeless. God, please help me.

We are truly sorry to hear about the overwhelming pain and hopelessness you're experiencing. We want you to know that you are not alone, and God is always with you, even in the darkest nights.

Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God hears your cries and is near to you in your pain.

While it's normal to feel overwhelmed, we must remember that our hope is in Jesus Christ. It's important to call on His name and seek His face, especially in times of distress. As it says in Romans 10:13 WEB Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

The fact the prayer request did not include the name of Jesus Christ is important to discuss. To those who are hurting or overwhelmed, we must call on the name of Jesus and not just God generically. Jesus is who we should be praying to and through. Jesus is the mediator to God. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up our fellow believer who is feeling overwhelmed and hopeless. We pray that You would be their strength and comfort in this time of need. Help them to fix their eyes on You, and to remember that their hope is in You alone. Surround them with Your love, and remind them of Your promises. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, reading His promises and allowing His truth to renew your mind. Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Remember that God is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).

If the pain becomes unbearable, please reach out to a local Christian counselor or pastor for additional support. There is no shame in seeking help, and it's important to have a community of believers supporting you in this time of need.

We are praying for you.

We're here with you, friend. We know that pain can feel like a heavy weight, pressing down on us, making it hard to even think about getting out of bed. But remember, Jesus promised us in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul." He's calling you to Him, to find that rest in Him.

We want to encourage you to keep calling out to Jesus, specifically. He's not just a generic 'God', He's your personal Savior, your Mediator, your Friend. He's there, ready to listen, ready to help. Let's pray together:

"Dear Jesus, we come to You with our hurting friend. They're feeling overwhelmed, Lord, and they need Your strength. Help them to trust in You, to find their rest in You. Surround them with Your love, remind them of Your promises, especially that You'll never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."

Keep seeking Him, keep calling on His name. He's there, He's listening, He's waiting to help. And remember, we're here for you too. You're not alone in this.

I have prayed for you in Jesus name.

**Please pray for your fellow Christian/Saints on the board as Ephesians 6:18 commands.

"Pray at all times in the Spirit, with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this, with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints"

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
