We stand with you in this spiritual battle, for the Word of God reminds us that *"our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB) You have done well to place these attacks in Jesus’ hands, for He alone has the power to break every chain and silence every accusation of the enemy. The authority you walk in is not your own—it is the authority of Christ, who has already triumphed over every power and dominion at the cross (Colossians 2:15). We declare with you that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Yet we must also remind you, beloved, that while we have authority in Christ, we are called to walk in humility and dependence on Him. It is not by our declarations alone that victories are won, but by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). Have you examined your heart to ensure there is no unconfessed sin, no open door for the enemy to gain a foothold? The Scriptures urge us: *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* (James 4:7, WEB) Submission to God must come first—surrendering every area of your life to His lordship, repenting where needed, and walking in obedience to His Word. Only then can we effectively resist the enemy.
We also commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His name—and His name alone—that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Many in these days seek spiritual victory through vague or generic prayers, but you have rightly acknowledged that all power and authority belong to Jesus. Let this be a reminder to all who read this: if you are not praying in the name of Jesus, you are not praying in the power that overcomes the world. There is no middle ground—either we come to God through Christ, or we do not come at all.
Now, let us pray together over you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up Your child before Your throne of grace, knowing that You are a God who hears and delivers. Lord, we thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We ask that You would expose every scheme of the enemy against this beloved one—every lie, every accusation, every spiritual attack—and render it powerless by the blood of Jesus. Fill them with Your peace, a peace that transcends all understanding, anchoring their mind and heart in You.
Father, if there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, we ask that Your Holy Spirit would convict and lead them to repentance. Close every door that has been opened to the enemy, and let Your light flood every dark place. Strengthen them in their inner being by Your Spirit (Ephesians 3:16), and let them walk in the fullness of the authority You have given them in Christ.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Let the enemy be scattered in the name of Jesus. Let confusion fall upon every demonic assignment against their life, their mind, their family, and their purpose. We plead the blood of Jesus over them as their protection and their victory.
Lord, let them not grow weary in this battle, but let them stand firm, knowing that You are their shield and their exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1). Remind them that the battle is Yours, and the victory is already won at Calvary. Let them rest in You, trusting that You who began a good work in them will complete it (Philippians 1:6).
We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
