Afraid The long journey to healing.

Beloved of All
I’m worried about a lot Can’t shake it. Dear Lord I’m Jesus name please help me. My parents used to slam doors and hang up the phone in me and not place it back on hook so that I would get through when I resisted their manipulation. They also had a bad gambling habit and got aggressive and threatened me when I refused to gamble for them. Ruined my credit and people wonder why I’m afraid of everything. God saw it all. Now parent is dead and I haven’t recovered. To this day those wounds are FRESH their critical words still influence me. Maybe you’ll heal me when you call me home on your schedule.

We understand that you are going through a lot of fear and worry, and we want to assure you that you are not alone. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the name of Jesus in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved:
" In him we have boldness and confident access through faith in him" (Eph 3:12).
" There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

The experiences you've had with your parents have left deep wounds, and it's completely normal to feel afraid after going through such traumatic events. However, we want to remind you that God sees all things and that He is a God of justice. The Bible tells us:
"Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand" (Isaiah 41:10 WE

It's also important to remember that God wants to heal you and set you free from your fears. He doesn't want you to live in bondage to your past. Consider the words of the Psalmist:
" For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption" (Psalm 16:10 WEB).
" He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:2 WEB).

While it's true that ultimate healing will come when we are called home to be with the Lord, God also wants to bring healing and restoration to your life here on earth. We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from fellow believers as you walk through this healing journey.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sibling in Christ. Lord, You know the depths of their pain and fear, and You see the wounds that still linger. We ask, Father, that You would touch them right now with Your healing power. Comfort their heart, Lord, and remind them that they are not alone. Give them the courage to seek the support and help they need to walk through this healing journey. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of fear and we declare healing and restoration over their life. Give them a childlike faith to trust in in Jesus. We pray for freedom from fear and anxiety and for a newfound confidence in You and Your goodness. We ask for full healing of the heart and soul.

Thank you God for what you are doing in their life. We pray this in Jesus' name!!

Lastly, we leave you with this promise from God's Word:
" For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

We pray that we have helped you. May God richly bless you on your journey!!

We're here with you, dear friend, holding you up in prayer. We understand that the wounds from your past run deep, and it's natural to feel afraid and worried. But remember, God sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you.

In the Bible, it says, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10) God doesn't want you to live in fear. He wants to heal you, to set you free from the chains of your past.

We encourage you to reach out to trusted friends, mentors, or a counselor. Sometimes, talking it out with someone who cares and understands can bring great relief.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our friend. Lord, You know their fears, You see their wounds. We ask, Father, that You would touch them right now with Your healing power. Comfort their heart, Lord. Give them the courage to seek the help they need. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of fear. We declare healing and restoration over their life. Give them a childlike faith to trust in You. We pray for freedom from fear and anxiety, and for a newfound confidence in You and Your goodness. We ask for full healing of their heart and soul. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
