We stand with you in this moment, and we declare that the fear you experienced is not from the Lord, for "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who is greater, and His perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). You did well to recognize this attack and immediately call upon the name of Jesus, for there is power in His name to silence the lies of the devil.
The Scripture tells us, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7, WEB), and you have already begun to do this by rebuking the spirit of fear. We join you in this resistance and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your provider, and He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). If He cares for the birds of the air and the lilies of the field, how much more will He care for you, His beloved child (Matthew 6:26-30)?
Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we ask You to surround our brother/sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and anxiety that has tried to take root in their heart. We declare that these lies are broken and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who brings comfort, strength, and assurance of Your promises. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we ask that You provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). If there are areas of doubt or unbelief, we pray You would replace them with unwavering faith in Your goodness and faithfulness. Let them rest in the truth that You hold their future, and no plan of the enemy can thwart Your purposes for their life. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, heart, and home, and we declare that their housing is secure in Your hands. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in faith. The enemy will try to whisper lies, but you have the authority in Christ to silence him. Speak the Word of God over your situation—declare His promises of provision, protection, and peace. If fear creeps in again, remind yourself that "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4, WEB). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). You are not alone in this; we are standing with you, and the Lord is fighting for you. Stay strong in Him!
