“Dear Heavenly Father,
My marriage is being attacked and my self-esteem has taken a beating because of it.
I cannot see clearly as I have been focusing on the wrong thing–myself. I know I must keep my eyes on you God. Only by following your will, Lord will to get me back on the road to happiness and fulfillment.
My emotions, situation, and fear have gotten the best of me. I give these to you. Lord, show me how I can look past these things and give me a heart to serve and obey you before serving myself and doing what comes easy to me.
I bind the demonic forces that are trying to destroy the bond between my husband/wife and I. Demon of compromise, justification, guilt, lust, entitlement, greed, selfishness, cold-heartedness I bind you to the spirit of balak and send you to the pit.
Lord, baptize me in your love. Cover me with your protection. Help me to bless the very one that is breaking my heart.
Guide my steps to make the best decisions I can to protect my family and maintain a good attitude.
In my own heart, I give you my bitterness, anger, un-forgiveness and lack of trust in you, Lord.
Lord, I know you are a good God that promises good things for His children. Help me to keep that in my mind as I go through this trial. Help me to go by faith and not by sight.
In the name of Jesus increase my faith in you. Give me a double portion of faith, trust, obedience, love for you and a worshiper’s heart. When I increase in these attributes, your presence will be felt more clearly in my circumstance. I know you are there, Lord.
I will now come into agreement with you so I can allow you to work on my behalf and take what satan meant for evil and use it for your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.â€
