Advice Please Reply Everyone

So I notice that I don't fully love myself because of my flaws and relationship as far as my mother I feel that I have neglected me and I tried to have a mother and daughter talk with her in ended up not because the things she was saying. I am a good child trying to grow into a women because ill be 18 next year. Please give me some advice on how to approach her and for her to understand me. Thank You for replying.

I am not sure who told you this incredible lie that you are supposed to love yourself, yet the Word would tell us

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."(Phil2.3)
