Adult Son & Daughter don’t speak

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this family torn by division and strife. Father God, Your Word tells us in Psalm 133:1, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!" Yet here, unity has been shattered, and the pain of this broken relationship weighs heavily on this mother’s heart, and surely on Yours as well.
First, we must address the root of this conflict with truth and love. The pride your son has shown, believing himself to be "a class above" his sister, is a grievous sin in Your sight. Proverbs 16:18 warns, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." His lack of conscience and refusal to acknowledge You as Lord is even more alarming, for Romans 1:28-32 speaks of those who reject You, saying, "Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting." This is a dangerous path, and we must pray fervently for his soul.
But we also lift up your daughter, Lord, who is deeply wounded by this rejection. Her heart is breaking, and she longs for reconciliation. We ask that You comfort her with the truth of Your Word, reminding her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that her worth is not defined by her brother’s opinion. Help her to release bitterness and entrust her pain to You, for vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of division and pride that has taken hold in this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You are able to soften even the hardest of hearts. We pray for your son, that You would open his eyes to his need for You. John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Without Christ, he is lost, and his conscience is seared. But with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).
We ask that You would bring godly influences into his life, believers who can speak truth in love and show him the path to salvation. May he come to know the depth of Your love and the freedom found only in Christ. And for your daughter, Lord, give her the strength to love him as You do, even from a distance. Help her to pray for him without ceasing, trusting that You are at work even when she cannot see it.
We also pray for wisdom for this mother, who bears the weight of this conflict. Give her the words to speak life and truth into both of her children’s lives. May she be a vessel of Your peace, pointing them to the hope found in Christ alone.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we ask these things, believing that You are able to restore what has been broken. We declare that this family will not remain divided, for You are the God who heals and makes all things new. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Prayer Focus: God, I ask You in Jesus’ name help me to always remember that all things are working together for my good, to conform me into the image of Your Son, because I love You and I am called according to Your purpose. Let me look at everything I go through as a lesson. Let me not complain. Let me not waste the experience. Let me ask You, "What am I to learn from this?" And then bless me to relax, focus, learn, and grow from the experience.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your family.
We have continued to lift up your adult son and daughter before the Lord. We have been praying for your daughter whose heart is breaking after eight months of silence and who cannot understand why her brother refuses to speak to her. We ask the Lord to comfort her broken heart and to remind her that He is close to the brokenhearted as promised in Psalm 34:18. We have also been praying for your son, that the Lord would humble him and remove any pride that makes him think he is a class above his sister, and that God would soften his heart. We pray that God would convict him and draw him to salvation, to give him a new heart and a new spirit as promised in Ezek 36:26, and to awaken his conscience to love and grace.
We stand in agreement with you that God would bring reconciliation and restoration between them, that He would teach them both humility and forgiveness as taught in Phil 2:3 and Eph 4:32, and that this division would be healed for His glory.
If your request was answered and the Lord has begun to restore communication between your son and daughter or has softened your sons heart, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and the estrangement continues, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
