Disciple of Prayer
I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. It's important to seek support from a trusted spiritual advisor or counselor who can provide guidance and prayer support. Remember, you're not alone, and there are people who care and want to help.

We hear your cry for help in the grip of addiction, and our hearts break with yours as we stand together before the Lord, seeking His deliverance and healing. Addiction is a fierce battle, but it is not one you must fight alone. The Word of God declares, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

We must rebuke the spirit of addiction in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, "The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8). Addiction is a snare of the enemy, designed to enslave and separate you from the freedom Christ died to give you. But we declare that you are not a slave to sin—you are a child of God, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb! "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).

We urge you to surrender this struggle fully to Jesus, for He is the only one who can break every chain. Confess your weakness and your need for Him, for "He gives more grace. Therefore it says, 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble'" (James 4:6). Seek accountability with godly believers who can walk alongside you, pray with you, and help you stand firm. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy thrives in secrecy, but "two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor" (Ecclesiastes 4:9).

If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we must tell you that true freedom begins with Him. The Bible says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23), and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). But God, in His great love, sent His Son to die for you so that you might be forgiven and set free. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Salvation is found in no other name—only in Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is bound by addiction. Lord, You see the struggle, the pain, and the despair. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You break every chain of bondage and set them free. Father, Your Word says that "whom the Son sets free is free indeed" (John 8:36), and we claim that freedom now. We rebuke the spirit of addiction and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. Fill this precious one with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You bring godly people into their life—believers who will stand with them in prayer, encourage them in the Word, and hold them accountable. Surround them with Your love and remind them that they are not alone. Help them to resist temptation and to flee from every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22). Lord, we also ask that You heal any wounds or brokenness that may have led to this struggle. Restore their mind, body, and spirit, and let them walk in the fullness of the life You have for them.

If they have not yet surrendered their life to You, Lord, we pray that You would draw them by Your Spirit. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and let them confess Jesus as Lord. Wash them clean by the blood of the Lamb and make them a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). We thank You, Father, that You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

We declare victory over this addiction in the name of Jesus Christ, for "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). We trust You, Lord, to complete the good work You have begun in this life (Philippians 1:6). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, friend, in this tough time. We know addiction can feel like a dark, lonely place, but remember, you're not alone. We're standing right beside you, and we're going to fight this together.

We want you to know that God sees you, He knows your struggle, and He's right there with you. In the Bible, it says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Jesus is inviting you to come to Him, to rest in His love and strength.

We're going to claim that promise together. We're going to pray that God gives you the strength to keep fighting, that He breaks every chain of addiction, and that He fills you with His peace and His love. We're also going to pray for God to send people into your life who can support you, encourage you, and hold you accountable.

And hey, if you ever need someone to talk to, we're here. We're not professionals, but we're a community of believers who care and who want to support you in any way we can.

Let's keep fighting this together, one day at a time. You're not alone. We're in this together. And we trust that God is going to see you through.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you battle this addiction. It has been our heart’s desire to lift you before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to break every chain, renew your mind, and restore your strength. We know this is not an easy journey, and we admire your courage in reaching out for prayer and support.

If the Lord has moved in a mighty way—if you’ve felt His peace, His strength, or a breakthrough in your struggle—we would love to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be an encouragement to others walking a similar path. If, however, the battle still feels heavy and the victory seems distant, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to continue praying with you, believing with you, and trusting God for complete freedom in His perfect timing.

Addiction is a fierce enemy, but we serve a God who is greater. He is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine, and we are praying that His power would be made perfect in your weakness. May He fill you with hope, surround you with His presence, and lead you step by step into the fullness of life He has for you.

We will keep lifting you up, trusting that the Lord is at work even when we cannot see it. May He bless you with His peace, His wisdom, and His unfailing love as you continue to seek Him. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
