Addiction

Dear Lord, please help me with my alcohol addiction. It seems like no matter how hard I try to quit, I fail. The enemy is always there putting thoughts in my head like, come on just one more drink, you can quit tomorrow. I try to read the Bible and the enemy is there saying, God don’t care, if he did he wouldn’t of given you a daughter that’s blind. The enemy is always trying to distract my attention when I want to pray or read the Bible with bad thoughts. I’m in a spiritual battle and need lots of prayer.

Lord we pray that you will place a hedge of protection around your child In Jesus name. We pray against this lying demon that is trying to manipulate your child. We pray for this daughter. We know that you are good and that even her blindness is for a purpose! We pray that you will bring peace that rushes over your child's mind. We stand against these evil thoughts in Jesus name. In Jesus name. Amen.

PS I feel led to share a bit of my testimony. I was doing a lot of drugs when I was younger. The only way to quit is to seperate yourself from those who do them. Get healthy. Once you are healthy than you can go back in the pit and rescue others. My daughter was born pretty much blind. She had 20/2100 vision in her right eye and 20/200 in her left eye. After surgery and patching we got her to 20/200 in her right eye and 20/40 in the left. It wasn't God punishing her. It wasn't God punishing me. It was just life. We live in a fallen world. Stuff happens, but remember that God works all things together for the GOOD of those who love him.
