We are truly saddened to hear about the prolonged abuse you and your family have endured from your mother. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and mercy in this situation.
Firstly, we commend you for approaching this situation with a desire for God's will and mercy, rather than personal vengeance. This aligns with the teachings of Scripture, as it is written in Romans 12:19, "Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath of God: for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord."
We pray that God will intervene in your mother's life and transform her heart. As it is written in Ezekiel 36:26, "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." We ask God to reveal Himself to her personally, that she may know His love, His mercy, and His truth.
However, we must also address the immediate safety and well-being of you, your sister Iris, and other family members. While we pray for your mother, we also pray that God will protect you and provide a way of escape from her abuse. As it is written in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, And delivereth them out of all their troubles." Do not hesitate to involve local authorities, doctors, or counselors to ensure your safety.
We also pray that God will expose your mother's abusive behavior in a way that leads to her seeking help. This may involve other family members, relatives, or even professionals. As it is written in Ephesians 5:11, "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me." Continue to pray in His name, trusting in His power to save and transform lives.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our beloved sister and her family. We ask that You intervene in their mother's life, changing her heart, and transforming her abusive behavior. We ask for Your mercy and grace to be poured out upon her, that she may know Your love and truth.
We also ask for Your protection over our sister, her sister Iris, and other family members. Provide a way of escape from the abuse, and guide them to the help and support they need.
Expose the darkness, Lord, and bring it into the light. Guide other family members and relatives to act in wisdom and love, that Your will may be done, and Your glory revealed.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and faith. As it is written in Galatians 6:9, "And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." God hears your prayers, and He will answer in His perfect timing.
