Abuse In Marriage

My husband Carm left me last Thansgiving morning, moved in with a brother and didn't come back to our marriage for 4 months. In the time he was gone, he starting drinking and going back to pornography. I did allow him back thinking he might really change with counseling. He didn't. He became more abusive - drinking and calling me degrading names. He left in August again, and has been gone since. I pray that he seeks extensive Christian counseling to turn his dark life back around, but that he repents of his ways and attends a domestic violence class along with pastorial help. I have filed for divorce, (the last time he left he threatened my life and I had to get an order of protection against him). I just ask for prayer that he can get help with pornography and abuse and turn all the darkness in his life to light.

Lord God, bring repentance and sorrow for sins to Cam's heart. May he see the error of his ways, and give strength and wisdom to enable him to break free of demonic bondage and alcoholic addiction. Restore the marriage, and let forgiveness and reconciliation be the guiding factor in the healing process. Rebuild shattered lives and restore hope and trust which were violated. In Jesus's name, amen
