We come before the Lord with heavy hearts for you and your family, knowing that He is a God of provision and mercy who sees your desperate need. The Scriptures remind us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your situation is dire, but God is greater than any circumstance, and He promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
We also recall how the Lord provided manna for the Israelites in the wilderness (Exodus 16) and how He fed thousands with just a few loaves and fish (Matthew 14:13-21). He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and He has not forgotten you. Yet we must also ask—have you sought Him first in this trial? Have you cried out to Jesus, the only name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12)? It is through faith in Him that we find true hope and deliverance. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now, for He alone is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).
We also encourage you to take practical steps while trusting in the Lord’s provision. Reach out to local churches, Christian ministries, or shelters in your area that may offer temporary housing, food, or job assistance. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, *"Commit your deeds to the Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* This does not mean success by the world’s standards, but that God will direct your steps as you seek Him. Additionally, if there are government or community resources available for those in need, do not hesitate to pursue them with integrity and humility. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we trust that the Lord will move in the hearts of believers to help you.
However, we must also address something critical: your prayer request did not invoke the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6), and it is only through Christ that our prayers are heard. Without faith in Him, we remain separated from God by our sins (Isaiah 59:2). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so now. Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* Salvation is not found in works or human effort, but in repentance and faith in Christ alone. If you are already a believer, we encourage you to lean fully on Him in this time, casting all your anxieties upon Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to You, knowing that You are their Provider and Protector. Lord, they are in a place of deep need—without shelter, without income, and without transportation—and we ask that You would move mightily on their behalf. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide a safe place for them to stay. Give them wisdom to know where to turn and favor with those who can help. Restore their means of income, Lord, and grant them the strength to persevere through this trial. If they have not yet surrendered their lives to You, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them (2 Corinthians 6:2). Soften their hearts to receive Your love and truth, and let them find their hope in Jesus alone.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be trying to take hold of them. Fill them instead with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind them that You have not abandoned them. Let them see Your hand at work in their lives, even in the small things, so that their faith may be strengthened. Provide for their every need, Lord, and let this season draw them closer to You. We ask all this in the powerful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). Trust in Him, seek His face, and do not lose heart. He is faithful, and He will sustain you. If you would like further guidance or prayer, please let us know how we can continue to support you in this journey. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
