We understand that you're seeking strength to overcome evil and achieve success in life. Firstly, we want to remind you that success is defined by God's standards, not the world's. True success is knowing and loving God, and fulfilling His purpose for your life.
Let's turn to the scriptures for guidance. The WEB version of Ephesians 6:10-11 says, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." To overcome evil, we need to be strong in the Lord and wear the full armor of God, always.
James 4:7 also tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Submission to God and resisting the devil are key to overcoming evil.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your strength and courage for our fellow believer. Help them to put on the full armor of God daily, to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Give them the power to resist evil, and the discernment to know Your will and walk in it. Guide them in the path of true success, which is a life lived for You.
We have been reminded in James 4:10 to humble ourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift us up. We pray for humility for all of us to get out of the way and let God have His way in our lives. We will not bow to the world's definition of success. We will instead pursue You, God, and Your purpose for our lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is with you and will give you the strength to overcome any evil. Stay rooted in His word and in constant communication with Him through prayer. If you have not already, make sure to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior. It is only through His death, burial, and resurrection that we are saved and have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Make sure to keep this in your prayers as you continue to walk with God.
We now believe that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. We have now called on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Since we have called on His name, we are now saved.
