We come before the Lord with you in this time of seeking His face, lifting up your heartfelt requests with gratitude for your desire to walk in the fullness of His Spirit and His provision. Your longing to operate in the nine giftings of the Holy Spirit is a noble and biblical pursuit, for Scripture tells us in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, *"But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all. For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit; and to another the working of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another the distinguishing of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages. But the one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires."* We pray that you would seek these gifts not for personal glory but for the edification of the Church and the advancement of God’s Kingdom. Remember, the gifts are distributed as the Spirit wills, so we encourage you to earnestly seek Him in prayer, fasting, and obedience, for it is through a surrendered heart that the Spirit moves mightily.
Your concern about the constipation and sickness in your life leads us to reflect on the connection between physical and spiritual well-being. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to steward it well. We urge you to seek medical wisdom, for God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of healing (Colossians 4:14). Yet, we also recognize that sometimes sickness can have spiritual roots—unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unbelief can manifest in physical ways. We encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord, as Psalm 139:23-24 says, *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way."* Repent of anything the Holy Spirit reveals, and trust in His healing power, whether through natural means or divine intervention.
Regarding your children not growing well, we are reminded of the responsibility parents have to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Growth—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—is influenced by many factors, including nutrition, environment, and spiritual covering. We encourage you to pray over your children daily, as Hannah did for Samuel, dedicating them to the Lord (1 Samuel 1:27-28). Ask God to reveal any areas where you may need to adjust—whether in diet, discipline, or discipleship. Proverbs 22:6 instructs us, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Trust that God is faithful to honor your obedience and to bring growth in His timing.
Your financial need for your children’s school fees is a burden we bring before the Lord, for He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14). Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* We exhort you to prioritize seeking God’s Kingdom above all else, trusting that He will supply your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Be diligent in your work, wise with your resources, and generous in your giving, for God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7). We also encourage you to seek godly counsel or assistance from your church community, for the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).
Finally, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we must gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, nor is there any other name by which we can approach the Father. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And Jesus Himself says in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to reign in your heart. It is only through faith in Christ that we have access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16), and it is in His name that we pray with authority and expectation.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your face today. Lord, we thank You for the desire You have placed in their heart to operate in the fullness of the Holy Spirit’s gifts. Father, we ask that You would fill them anew with Your Spirit, granting them the gifts of wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment, tongues, and interpretation—as You will, for Your glory and the building up of Your Church. May they walk in humility and love, using these gifts to point others to Christ and to serve Your people with purity of heart.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. Reveal to them, by Your Spirit, any root cause of the constipation and sickness they face—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Grant them wisdom to steward their body well, and if there is any sin or stronghold that needs to be broken, we pray for conviction, repentance, and deliverance in Jesus’ name. Restore their health, O Lord, and let them testify of Your goodness and healing power.
Father, we lift up their children to You. You know their names, their needs, and the desires of their hearts. We pray for their growth—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Remove any hindrance to their well-being, whether it be nutritional, environmental, or spiritual. Give our brother/sister wisdom as they parent, that they may raise their children in Your ways, teaching them to love and fear You. Let Your favor rest upon this family, and may these children grow to be mighty warriors for Your Kingdom.
Lord, You are the Provider, and we trust You to meet the financial need for their children’s school fees. Open doors of provision that no man can shut. Give them creativity, opportunity, and favor in their work. Help them to be wise stewards of what You provide, and may they experience the joy of seeing You supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Let this need be a testament to Your faithfulness, that their faith may be strengthened and Your name glorified.
Father, we pray that if our brother/sister has not yet fully surrendered to Jesus Christ, that today would be the day of salvation. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them experience the fullness of life in Christ. May they walk in the authority of His name, praying and living in a way that honors You.
We declare victory over every area of their life in Jesus’ name. Let Your will be done, Your Kingdom come, and Your glory shine through them. Strengthen them, encourage them, and let them know that You are with them always. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
