We are here with you, seeking God's will and guidance for your life.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful and that He cares for you. In Matthew 6:31-33 WEB it is written, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
This passage assures us that God knows our needs and will provide for them as we seek Him first. This does not mean that we should not work or make efforts to improve our situations. Second Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB warns us, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear there are some who walk among you in rebellion, who don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread."
So, we pray that you will find the strength and wisdom to work diligently and honestly.
Let us pray together for your financial situation.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your provision. We ask that You guide them to the right job or business opportunities, and give them the strength and wisdom to be productive and successful. We pray that they will be faithful in their work, as working for You and not for men, Colossians 3:23 WEB. And to remember to be content in all circumstances Philippians 4:11 WEB.
We rebuke the spirit of poverty and lack, and we declare that God's provision is more than enough for every need. We ask that You align their life with the word of God, and they please You in all their ways.
We also want to take this opportunity to remind you that God's blessings come through Jesus Christ. In John 14:6 WEB it is written, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God and ask for His provision and blessings. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is our abiding in Him that allows us to abide in the blessings of God.
We thank You for Your faithfulness and love. We ask all these things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray saying, "Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen."
