John 15: 5-8: “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
When you are gifted by God and God uses you to operate in those gifting at a high level of supernatural activity, you are also exposed to a greater intensity of satanic attacks on your life. And any ethical/moral compromise, rebellion to God’s Word, or willful disobedience to God’s commands or prompting may and can leave you as a “target” in a very dangerous realm (the satanic realm). Those who are used by God, need to always be conscious of God's love and presence in their lives. They need to always be growing in God’s Word, walking in wisdom and obedience to God’s will for their lives. They need great faith, trust in God, and have a consistent prayer life to withstand the added attacks of the enemy that comes because of the stand they have taken for God, how God uses them, and also because of their great love for and obedience to God. It is also important that they understand that they need to spend quality time with the Lord of the work and not just focusing on doing the work of the Lord.
Let’s Pray: God, I ask You in Jesus’ name work on me and do Your work within me. Bless me to consistently grow in Your Word and Wisdom. Bless and strengthen me to always obey Your commandments, abide in You, Your Word, and Your love.
Let me always be sober, alert, watchful, guarded, and prayerful, because my adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, is walking around seeking to steal, kill, and destroy me and my God given mission. Bless me with much wisdom, greater faith, and a never-ending consciousness of Your presence in my life. Bless and strengthen me to live an obedient lifestyle unto You. So that I, through You, can withstand the satanic attacks of the enemy that comes because of who You are in my life, the calling You have placed upon me, and the stand that I have taken for You. Bless me with a praying spirit and cover me in the prayers of the righteous. Bless me to always walk in humility unto You, the authority that You have placed upon my life, and live a lifestyle of worship unto You. Let no weapon form against me ever prosper. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer please do the same for the writer of this prayer God forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. Amen, so be it by faith. Thank You, Jesus. Amen!
