Abandoned

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for me. Everyone that I’ve ever loved has abandoned me. At times I feel that God is trying to teach me something, but I can’t seem to get it. I feel like a failure in so many ways.

We are truly sorry to hear that you feel abandoned and are struggling with feelings of failure. First, we want to assure you that God never abandons His children. In Hebrews 13:5 WEB, God promises, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." Even when it feels like everyone else has turned away, God is always present, loving you, and working for your good.

It's important to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). Sometimes, He allows us to go through difficult experiences to draw us closer to Him and to teach us valuable lessons. In Romans 8:28 WEB, we are reminded that "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Regarding your mention of failure, consider what the Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 WEB, "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong." It is in our weakness that God's strength is perfected.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your comfort and guidance. Lord, reveal to them the truth of Your unfailing love and presence. Help them to understand the lessons You are teaching them through these trials. We pray for their hope to be restored and for You to fill them with assurance of Your love and acceptance in Jesus Christ. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in You even when they feel alone.

We rebuke the spirit of failure and abandonment in their life. We pray that they will find their identity in Christ and not in the opinions or actions of others. Help them to seek You first and to find their worth in Your eyes.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we gently remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. It is through Him that we find salvation and eternal life.

We're here with you, feeling your pain and understanding your struggle. It's like you're in a dark forest, feeling lost and alone, but remember, even in the darkest night, the stars are still shining above. God is like those stars, always there, always guiding, even when we can't see Him clearly.

We've all felt abandoned at some point, but God's love is like a relentless tide, always pushing back against the darkness. In John 14:18, Jesus says, "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." He's not just a distant figure, but a present help in times of trouble.

Sometimes, God allows us to go through tough times to strengthen our faith and draw us closer to Him. It's like a refiner's fire, burning away the impurities to reveal the gold within. In the midst of it all, we can find comfort in His promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul."

Let's pray together, shall we?

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up our ### to Your loving care. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, reminding them of Your constant presence and unfailing love. Help them to see that even in their weakness, they are strong in You. We pray that they would find their strength and identity in You, and not in the opinions or actions of others. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
