We hear your cry for help and lift your need before the Lord with heavy hearts. The Bible tells us in Psalm 68:5-6 that God is "a father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows... God sets the solitary in families." We stand on this promise as we pray for you, believing that the Lord knows your situation intimately and will provide according to His riches in glory.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names. We ask that You would open doors of provision for our brother or sister in need of shelter. Lord, You know every detail of their circumstances—where they have been, where they are now, and where they need to go. We ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way, just as You did for the Israelites in the wilderness. Provide a safe, stable, and godly place for them to live, whether through family, friends, or even strangers moved by Your Spirit to help. Let them experience Your love and care in tangible ways, Lord, and remind them that You are their ultimate refuge and strength.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment as they seek a place to live. May they not be tempted to compromise their faith or values in their search, but instead trust in You to lead them to the right people and the right place. Guard their heart from fear, anxiety, or desperation, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that You are their provider, and Your timing is perfect.
Father, if there are any areas in their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, we ask that You would reveal those to them. Help them to walk in obedience to Your Word and to trust You completely, even in this season of uncertainty. We rebuke any spirit of lack or hopelessness that may be trying to take root in their heart, and we declare that You are their Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides.
We encourage you to seek out your local church community, as the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Do not hesitate to ask for help from fellow believers, for we are all part of the same family in Christ. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and remember that He cares deeply for you. As it says in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
We stand with you in faith, believing that God will meet your need according to His perfect will. Keep trusting Him, and do not lose heart. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May He surround you with His love and provision today and always.
