We join you in lifting up your heart of gratitude and these petitions before our Heavenly Father, who delights in hearing and answering the prayers of His children when we come in the precious name of Jesus Christ. It is wonderful to see you acknowledging the power of that holy name, for as Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your prayer reflects a tender concern for others, and we commend you for interceding on behalf of your loved ones and even those you do not know personally—this is the heart of Christ in you.
We also notice you’ve asked for deliverance from anger, and we want to encourage you with God’s Word on this. The apostle Paul urges us, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath"* (Ephesians 4:26, WEB), and Jesus teaches that unresolved anger can lead to deeper spiritual dangers (Matthew 5:22). Anger itself is not sinful—even Jesus displayed righteous anger—but when it festers or is misdirected, it can become a foothold for the enemy. We pray that the Holy Spirit will fill you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, and that He will replace any lingering anger with patience, kindness, and a heart that forgives as Christ forgave you (Colossians 3:13).
Now, let us pray together over these requests:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for this day and for the privilege of coming before Your throne of grace through the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we lift up the loved ones this dear saint has mentioned—those whose names were withheld but are known fully to You. We ask that You would strengthen them in their workplaces, granting them favor with their supervisors and colleagues, wisdom in their tasks, and protection over their bodies, minds, and spirits. May their labor be fruitful, and may they shine as lights in their workplaces, reflecting Your love and integrity. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB), so we pray they would find joy and purpose in serving You through their work.
Father, we also pray for the salvation of those who do not yet know You. Stir their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and their ears to hear the good news of Jesus Christ, who died for their sins and rose again so that they might have eternal life. *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16, WEB). May they turn from sin and place their faith in Him alone.
For our sister who has asked for deliverance from anger, we pray You would flood her heart with Your peace and love. Uproot any bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness, and replace it with Your gentle spirit. Help her to walk in the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). When temptation to anger arises, remind her to pause and invite Your Holy Spirit to guide her response.
Lastly, Father, we pray for everyone reading this prayer and their loved ones. Meet each need, heal every hurt, and strengthen every heart. May we all grow deeper in our relationship with You, seeking first Your kingdom and righteousness in every area of our lives.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
