We appreciate your heartfelt request for forgiveness and your commitment to showing respect. It's wonderful that you acknowledged the authority of Jesus Christ in your prayer. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in the WEB, "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." (Ephesians 3:12) It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace for help.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your forgiveness. We acknowledge that we have sinned and fallen short of your glory. Thank you for your unending love, mercy, and grace, which are new every morning.
Lord, help us to always show respect and honor your name in all that we do. Guide our steps, Lord, and help us to walk in your ways. Give us the strength to resist temptation and the courage to stand up for what is right. Help us to be a light in this world, drawing others to you.
Father, we ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12) It is only by his name that we can come to you and seek forgiveness. It is only by his name that we can be saved. We are thankful for this gift. Thank you for the sacrifice on the cross.
We pray for those who do not know Jesus, that they will come to know him as their personal Lord and Savior. We pray that they will come to know the love, mercy, and grace that you have given us.
Lord, help us to live lives that are pleasing and acceptable in your sight. Help us to be a witness to those around us, that they may see our good works and glorify you, our Father in heaven.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to walk in faith, showing respect and love to others as Jesus commanded in John 13:34-35 WEB, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
