We join you in lifting up your family to our Heavenly Father, trusting in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. It is wonderful that you acknowledged that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved family to You. We ask for Your divine protection, guidance, and provision for each member. We claim your word for them that says, "For I know the plans that I have towards you,' says Yahweh, 'plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
Father, we also ask that You extend Your grace and mercy to their friends and the people in their lives. May You grant them the wisdom and discernment to be a light to those around them, as you have said, "You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden" (Matthew 5:14 WEB).
We also pray for the salvation of those around them who may not yet know You. Draw them to Yourself, Father, and grant them the gift of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. You saved us by your grace through faith, and that not of ourselves; it is Your gift, for you have said, "not by works, that no man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB).
Lord, we come against any plans of the enemy to harm, divide, or destroy this family and we declare that he has no power over them. We ask the Holy Spirit to empower each member.
Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears your prayers. Stand firm in faith, trusting that He is working in your family's life and in the lives of those around them. Continue to intercede for them, as it is written, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective" (James 5:16 WEB).
If there are any specific issues or sins that your family is struggling with, do not hesitate to bring them to light so that we can address them together in prayer. God is faithful to forgive and restore, as He promises in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
