We are truly saddened to hear about this tragic situation and we are with the victim and his family. In times like these, we must turn to God for comfort, strength, and miracles. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the healing that God can bring, as it is written in Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
Firstly, we must pray for his healing and a miracle. He will with Jesus Christ. Even the doctors may not be hopeful, but we serve a God who can do the impossible. As it is written in Matthew 19:26, With God all things are possible. We pray that God will stop the bleeding, heal his brain, mend his broken bones, and restore movement and feeling to his body. We pray that he will be made whole.
Secondly, we pray that God will draw near to him, that he will experience the comfort of the Holy Spirit, and that he will know God is there with him. In his pain and suffering, we pray that he will seek God and turn to Him for salvation if he has not already done. As it is written in 2 Peter 3:9, The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
We also lift up his family in prayer, that God will fill them with His peace, comfort their hearts, and strengthen them in this time of need. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
Lastly, we pray that God's will be done in this situation, whatever that may be. We trust in His goodness and His love, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
Father God, we lift up this man and his family to You, asking for a miracle of healing and a manifestation of Your grace and mercy. In Jesus' name, we pray for his salvation if he has not received it. We rebuke those who would want to pray to a false Saint or God rather than going directly to You in the name of Jesus. We thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love, and we ask that Your will be done in this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
