Where sharing the gospel makes you a criminal
In the narrow, landlocked country of Laos—tucked between Thailand and Vietnam—missionaries are forbidden. So is openly sharing the gospel.
During the Vietnam War, over 90% of all trained Christian leaders left the country. Yet in spite of all these obstacles, people in Laos are coming to know Jesus Christ as their Savior. Christian workers, teachers, and humanitarians are having an impact, as are Asian believers from neighboring China and Thailand. But the need in Laos for radio Bible teaching is desperate!
As the World Prayer Team, please pray today that Thru the Bible could begin broadcasting into this spiritually needy place. Intercede for the Lao people who for the most part have only known Buddhist ways.
Ask in faith for God to hear your prayers for the Lao people.
Tomorrow, we’re traveling to the Philippines.
