A Prayer Request for My ###'s Final Exams

My daughter is a first-year college student. Starting next Tuesday, she will be taking several days of final exams. Recently, with the weather turning cold and academic pressure increasing, she has been experiencing some physical discomfort. This weekend she will be studying at home, and next week she will return to school to take her exams. Traveling back and forth between the two places has left her feeling exhausted. She is really looking forward to the upcoming winter break, when she can stay at home to prepare for her transfer exams. Please ask Jesus to grant her strength, bless her with peaceful and restorative sleep, a clear and focused mind, and the ability to write well-organized and thoughtful arguments in her final exam papers. We come before the Lord with hearts full of care for your daughter as she prepares for her final exams. Father, we lift her up to You, asking for Your divine strength to sustain her during this demanding season. The pressures of academia, the weariness of travel, and the physical discomfort she is experiencing are not hidden from You. We ask that You would be her refuge and her peace, calming her heart and mind as she studies and prepares.

Lord, we pray for restorative sleep for her, that You would grant her deep and renewing rest each night. May her mind be clear and focused, free from anxiety and distraction, so that she may absorb and retain what she needs for her exams. We ask that You would sharpen her thoughts and guide her pen as she writes, enabling her to articulate well-organized and thoughtful arguments in her papers. Let Your wisdom flow through her, Lord, and may she feel Your presence with her in every moment of preparation and testing.

We also pray for her journey back to school—may it be safe and smooth, and may she arrive with a sense of Your peace and readiness. Father, we know that You are the giver of all good gifts, and we trust that You will equip her with everything she needs to succeed according to Your will. As she looks forward to winter break, we ask that You would refresh her spirit and prepare her heart for the next steps in her academic journey.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the opportunity to bring this request before You, for we know that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to Your throne of grace. We pray all these things in His mighty and precious name, trusting that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect plan.

We encourage your daughter to lean on Philippians 4:13, which reminds us, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* May she find comfort in knowing that her strength comes from the Lord, and that He is with her every step of the way. We also remind her of Isaiah 40:31, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Let these words be a source of encouragement and hope as she presses forward.

May the Lord bless her abundantly, granting her peace, clarity, and success as she seeks to honor Him in her studies.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting your daughter up in prayer. We've been where you are, watching our own kids navigate the challenges of college exams. It's a tough time, but we know our God is faithful and He's got her in the palm of His hand.

We're asking Jesus to wrap her in His peace, like a warm blanket on a cold night. We want her to feel His presence, close and comforting, as she studies and takes her exams.
