Dear Lord....I know that you brought Matt and I into each other lives for a reason. The last 5 years of my life have been wonderful ,and i love him so much. He is a great man and has a great heart. The only thing he lacks, is love in your son Jesus. Please lord hold on to his heart ,and soften him.
Please speak to him ,and ease his fears. He is so afraid to accept your son, because his family does not believe, and he does not want to turn against his family...and believed that they will go to hell. Please lord give him understanding and let the walls that are blocking his heart crumble.
lord please help us to get beyond this road block and allow him to see the truth. Lord i love him so and i want him to be safe. I want him to feel the love that you've given my life.
I want to marry him with all of my heart, but i will not disobey you or turn against you lord.
I am so scared to walk away. because i want to spend the rest of my life with him. But i want you at the head of our marriage. I know you've brought this to light for a reason. Its a lesson for both Matt and i.
Please Lord don't let this be the end for Matt and I. Please Lord work on Matt's heart and don't let him give up on learning about Christianity.
Take away the fear and doubt from his mind and ease his troubled heart. Guide him and Show him the way.
Lord i pray that you will hold both of our hands through this tough time. Please Ease the pain I feel in my heart. I cry for his salvation lord.
Please Show me how to help him. guide me towards the right actions to take and place the right words on my lips.
