A Prayer for Karen and Mike

Father God I kneel today and lift our friend and sister Karen up to Your sweet and loving arms. Her heart is breaking, and she cries to You Lord to bring her to a place of peace and content, and I stand today with her in her prayer. Lord Jesus, let today be a day of healing in Karen's life, let today be a day that she feels a complete sense of peace settle over her like a blanket, and make it known to her Father that it is You.

Wash over her tears of pain with tears of joy Lord, let the spirit consume her every desire and need, hold her close to you Father, allow her to know she is loved, needed, and prayed for every single day. I ask You Father to protect her from the enemey and from those in the world against her in all areas of her life. I stand in the gap for Mike today, I speak and claim victory in the conviction of Mike's heart, I speak and claim victory in the restoration of this marriage. Deliver this marriage from the hands of the enemy and back into Your Glory Lord, renew within them a love and desire for You and Your will for their marriage, instill in them the ability to love, honor, cherish, forgive, and respect each other as they once did under Your guidence Father. Be with Karen as she walks this oh so long journey, allow her to feel Your presence beside her, and the presence of her prayer warriors behind her in all she does. I give this to You Lord, and I know You are the master healer and it will be done, in Jesus name amen.

Father, I stand as the third cord in this prayer. May You alone guide and comfort, protect and provide for Karen this day. I cannot say it any better than my sister, Liz - we just pray Your plan will be fulfilled and this marriage brought back to its intended place of honor in Your kingdom. Come to Karen this moment Father and lead her forward I pray. Amen.

Thank you friends for your prayers. It is times like this that I cannot seem to be close to God. I cant explain it. I find myself praying for my marriage, and then praying for money for a divorce. I need my Heavenly Fathers love and help in my heart, mind soul, body and strength. I depend on God the Father of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He has sent many good friends to hold me up. I feel like the paralized man who needed four friends to hold the mat and let it down from the roof so Jesus could heal him. I need healed and my marriage needs healed. I think Mike has disappeared from Earth. I pray God would get hold of his heart and bring him to his senses. K-J, that scripture is one of my favorites.

I am in awe of Your might, power and love! You are deserving of praise after praise after praise. Father of Mercy, I stand and agree with the prayers above for Karen and Mike. I pray that You will give Karen the heart of David to battle this Goliath. It does not take much to defeat the enemy, with Your help. I know this will be done to Glorify You and in Jesus wonderful name I pray, amen.
