A prayer for humility

[Ichtus]

Heavenly Father,

I find myself in a situation, which feels unbearable, saying this I also know, that You do not place me in a situation, which I can not bear, for You are Faithfull to Your Promises. 

Lord, I pray for humility to accept this situation as it is, for in only in being humble, You can show me Your Grace. You have my longterm good at heart.

And please Father show me the escape from this temptation!

Not by might nor by strenght but by My Spirit says The Host of Hosts.

Lord God, please keep, saveguard and protect me!

I pray in the name of Your Beloved and Precious Son, Jesus The Christ.

13No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

The Word does not say that God will place us in a situation which we cannot bear. We may find ourselves in a situation because of our choices. He may "ask" us to go somewhere or do something that may be hard. But He is Lord, or should be. We always have a choice to accept to not anything He wants us to do or go. But when He wants us to go somewhere or do something He has already equipped us to handle it.

Micah 6:7-8 …7Does the LORD take delight in thousands of rams, In ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I present my firstborn for my rebellious acts, The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? 8He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?

This says what the Lord expects of us. To do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God. We walk humble by following His instructions in His Word, and then doing them. Not the "do nots" but the things we are told to do, such as heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons. To set the captives free of their bondages to sin and sickness.

In the name of Jesus, be blessed with the life of God.
