We are glad to join you in prayer for this important matter. Before we begin, we want to remind you that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As scripture tells us we know this is true. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. "in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." Ephesians 3:12 WEB.
We ask that you examine yourself to make sure you are a child of God, born again and baptized. Make sure you have confessed with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead. You will be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 10:9-11 WEB. Your belief in Jesus Christ is critical to your prayers being heard.
Therefore, we pray for guidance and favor in your visa interview. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and favor for our dear one preparing for their visa interview. We pray that You guide their steps and words during this process. Grant them the visa if it aligns with Your perfect will for their life.
We ask that You calm any nerves and give them a sound mind. We pray this in Jesus' name. "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB.
We ask that You provide guidance and wisdom to the interviewing officers, and that You touch their hearts to look favorably upon this application if it is Your will.
We thank You for Your faithfulness and for always working for our good. We trust in Your plan and timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
You can also take a look at this verse during trials like this.
"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Make sure to report back so we can follow up this prayer. May God bless you.
